YUSUKE AKITOSHI had two extra base hits, helping the Skagit Valley (17-20) to a 9-6 victory over the Shoreline (9-24) on Monday at Skagit.
He homered in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth innings.Jorgen Arnesen racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Shoreline. He homered in the third inning.
JEFF FROST recorded his third win of the year for the Skagit Valley. He allowed three runs over six innings. FROST struck out four, walked four and gave up three hits.
Chase Kairis couldn't get it done on the hill for the Shoreline, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked none and struck out two.
