The Centralia make the most of 8 hits in 8-4 victory over the Green River

The Centralia (14-25) and the Green River (9-30) each put runners in scoring position on Monday, but the Centralia capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out an 8-4 win.

Justin Wilson had a hot bat for the Centralia. Wilson went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Josh Broom pitched lights out for the Green River. The Centralia managed just two hits off of Broom, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out four during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Jake Conover improved to 4-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Centralia. He allowed four runs over five innings. Conover struck out two, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Jacob Carson was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
