The Chemeketa (24-18) jumped out to an early lead on the Clark (7-28) and captured a 10-0 victory on Monday at Wallace Marine Park .
The game was decided quickly as the Chemeketa exerted their will early with five runs in the first three innings.
A groundout by Janie Carr in the first inning and an RBI single by Allie Anderegg, a single by Anderegg, and during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Chemeketa.Kelsey Linn racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Chemeketa. He singled in the second inning.
Jessica Hotaling brought the heat against the Clark during his outing. Hotaling held the Clark hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.
Jackie Jones (4-15) took the loss for the Clark. He allowed 10 runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.
