Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The SW Oregon offense too much for the Pierce in 11-0 rout

Story by Narrative Science.

The SW Oregon (26-15) jumped out to an early lead on the Pierce (22-17) and captured an 11-0 victory on Thursday at Skagit Valley.

With six runs in the first three innings, the SW Oregon left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run single by Hannah Leming and an RBI single by Carli Vogl during the first inning helped the SW Oregon put some runs on the board early.

Kelsey Jeffries racked up two RBIs on two hits for the SW Oregon. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth innings.

The Pierce couldn't get anything going as long as Jessica Myers was pitching. The Pierce managed just one hit off of Myers, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Karlee Rose Perry (13-7) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked none and struck out none.
