A superb effort by Alexandra Ekonomakis carried the Olympic (15-20) to a 14-3 win in five innings over the Everett (13-22) on Tuesday at Everett Boys _ Girls Club .

Ekonomakis racked up seven RBIs on three hits for the Olympic. He homered in the second innings and singled in the fourth inning.

The biggest inning for the Olympic was the second. In the inning the Olympic scored nine runs.

Minna Ward racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Everett. He homered in the third inning.

Ashley Chamberlin recorded his fifth win of the year for the Olympic. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered eight hits.

Alisa Ortega (6-13) took the loss for the Everett. He allowed nine runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.
