The Lower Columbia (26-13) beat the Tacoma (34-3) 11-4 on Tuesday at Minnitti Field after an eight-run explosion in the ninth inning.

Justin Jacobs led the Lower Columbia's offensive threat, as he got on base five times in the game. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Gabe Ihrig recorded his third win of the year for the Lower Columbia. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Brett Nielsen (0-1) took the loss for the Tacoma. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
