Eddie Hull went 1-2 and hit a home run, helping the Carolina Vipers (3-8) to a 5-1 victory over the Statesville Owls (8-4) on Monday at East Mecklenburg HS.

Cameron Price's six strikeouts were enough to push the Carolina Vipers past the Statesville Owls. Price allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over six innings.

William Feimster ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.
