The Skagit Valley (9-22) and the Yakima Valley (14-14) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Skagit Valley that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Skagit Valley.

Ashley Hayes (1-2) took the loss for the Yakima Valley. He lasted just six innings, walked nine, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
