The Mt. Hood (25-0) beat the Chemeketa (17-12) 5-1 in five innings on Saturday at Saints Field behind Megan Reed, who went 2-3 and hit a home run.

Kristen Crawford brought the heat against the Chemeketa during his outing. The Chemeketa managed just three hits off of Crawford, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Jessica Hotaling ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
