Sunday was a great day for Cheyenne Barger, as he hit two home runs to carry the Treasure Valley (24-10) to a 17-9 victory over the Walla Walla (12-19) in six innings.
Barger racked up eight RBIs on four hits for the Treasure Valley. He homered in the first and second innings, singled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the fifth inning.
The two teams combined for 26 runs and 29 hits, including zero extra base hits.
The Treasure Valley blew out the Walla Walla thanks to 17 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Treasure Valley scored seven runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Natalie Martin, an RBI single by Jodie Hoagland, a three-run double by Barger, and a two-run home run by Bailey Bennett.
Ambrea Cuellar improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Treasure Valley. Cuellar struck out none, walked none and gave up four hits.
Hanna DeBaugh was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 15 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.
