The Skagit Valley (9-18) beat the South Puget Sound (0-17) 7-1 in seven innings on Saturday at Skagit Valley after a four-run explosion in the sixth inning.

Holly Hawkins racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Skagit Valley. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Brie Lopez got the win for the Skagit Valley thanks to six strikeouts. Lopez allowed one earned run on six hits and one walk over seven innings.

Amanda Rupright (0-14) took the loss for the South Puget Sound. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked none and struck out two.
