A superb effort by Cheyenne Kessler lifted the Walla Walla (12-14) to a 14-1 win in five innings over the Grays Harbor (2-12) on Sunday.

Kessler blasted two home runs for the Walla Walla. Kessler went 2-4 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored. Kessler homered in the second and fourth innings.

Nine runs in the first three innings helped the Walla Walla blow out the Grays Harbor. A single by Paige Pontarolo, a hit by pitch, , a sacrifice fly by Hanna DeBaugh, a three-run single by Bri Christian, a three-run single by Christian, and an error during the first inning and a two-run home run by Kessler in the second inning helped the Walla Walla put some runs on the board early.

DeBaugh pitched lights out for the Walla Walla. DeBaugh held the Grays Harbor hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Jenny Benn (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 14 runs in four innings, walked four and struck out none.
