The Nashua Silver Knights outdone by Nunziato and the Worcester Bravehearts, 7-6

Nick Nunziato drove in three runs, helping the Worcester Bravehearts (11-3) to a 7-6 victory over the Nashua Silver Knights (5-7) on Thursday at Holman Stadium.

He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Jordan Versteeg brought the heat against the Nashua Silver Knights during his outing. The Nashua Silver Knights managed just one hit off of Versteeg, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Jimmy Ricoy paced the Nashua Silver Knights at the plate. Ricoy went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Lucas Olen had an impressive outing against the Worcester Bravehearts' lineup. Olen gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Andrew Bergmann got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed four runs over five innings. Bergmann struck out three, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Mike Geannelis couldn't get it done on the bump for the Nashua Silver Knights, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked none and struck out five.
