Friday was a great day for Lindsie Scholwinski, as Scholwinski tossed a shutout to carry the Spokane (14-9) to a 4-0 victory over the Walla Walla at Spokane Falls Community College in seven innings.
Scholwinski struck out 15 hitters en route to the the Spokane win. The Spokane's pitcher gave up just three hits over seven shutout innings.
Lexi Miller racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Spokane. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Jamie Moe ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
