The Bisbee Blue (33-30) blew out the Douglas Diablos (27-36) 17-3 on Wednesday at Warren after pouring on nine runs in the fourth inning.
The Bisbee Blue scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Brett Zaziski, an RBI double by Clemente Parra, a two-run double by Tom Goodman, an RBI double by Antonio Alvarez, an RBI double by Daniel Aldrich, a two-run error, and an RBI double by Zaziski.
Zaziski racked up five RBIs on four hits for the Bisbee Blue.
Goodman improved to 5-6 on the year by picking up the win for the Bisbee Blue. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered six hits.
Jake Hovis (2-5) took the loss for the Douglas Diablos. He allowed 14 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out seven.
The Bisbee Blue easily handled the Douglas Diablos pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
