Craig Massey drove in three runs, helping the Santa Fe Fuego (25-16) to a 6-3 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (30-14) on Wednesday at Fort Marcy Park.

Riley Smith racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Ryan Richardson had an impressive outing against the Santa Fe Fuego's lineup. Richardson held the Santa Fe Fuego hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Josh Downing improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Noah Piard couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Alpine Cowboys, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out none.
