The Taos Blizzard (22-41) and the Trinidad Triggers (35-25) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Taos Blizzard that eventually took advantage of them in an 11-7 win at Taos Tundra.
The Taos Blizzard's Evan Mansell was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and homered in the eighth inning.
Chris Escobar was solid at the plate for the Trinidad Triggers. Escobar went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and fifth innings.
Even though Andrew Bruder allowed seven runs over nine innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. He struck out eight, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.
Anthony Narducci ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
