The Las Vegas Train Robbers make the most of 7 hits in 4-3 victory over the Santa Fe Fuego

The Las Vegas Train Robbers (11-19) and the Santa Fe Fuego (20-12) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Las Vegas Train Robbers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at Rodriguez Park.

Miguel Castano was hot from the plate for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. Castano went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second, seventh, and eighth innings.

Josh Tols handled the Santa Fe Fuego's lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Tols allowed two earned runs on seven hits and no walks over seven innings.

Nick Billinger racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He singled in the first, fifth, and eighth innings.

Matthew Paz improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He allowed one run over one inning. Paz struck out one, walked one and gave up three hits.

Andrew Shoulders was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
