The Roswell Invaders jump on the White Sands Pupfish early and coast to 19-4 win

The Roswell Invaders (3-1) jumped out to an early lead on the White Sands Pupfish (1-3) and captured a 19-4 victory on Friday at Joe Bauman Park.

With 13 runs in the first three innings, the Roswell Invaders left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI double by Sam Montgomery in the first inning and a two-run double by Alex Carasco, an error, a sacrifice fly by Montgomery, an RBI single by Dimitri Papantonopoulos, an RBI single by Kalin Sims, a groundout by Ryan Retz, an error, and a two-run double by Josh Mooney during the second inning helped the Roswell Invaders put some runs on the board early.

Sims reached base five times in the game for the Roswell Invaders. He scored three runs and had one RBI.

Mooney struck out six hitters en route to the the Roswell Invaders win. Mooney allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over six innings.

Fabian Feliciano couldn't get it done on the hill for the White Sands Pupfish, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.

The Roswell Invaders easily handled the White Sands Pupfish pitching as seven hitters combined for 19 hits, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
