The Clackamas offense too much for the Treasure Valley in 10-1 rout

The Clackamas (25-1) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Treasure Valley (18-10), recording a 10-1 victory on Sunday at Skagit Valley.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Clackamas to put the game away early.

A two-run home run by Rashaun Sells and a solo home run by Kiara Vasquez in the first inning and a solo home run by Kandace Furlong, a two-run double by Sells, and a three-run double by Sells during the second inning fueled the Clackamas' offense early.

Sells racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Clackamas.

Alyson Boytz brought the heat against the Treasure Valley during his outing. The Treasure Valley managed just three hits off of the the Clackamas' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Ambrea Cuellar was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.
