The Chemeketa (16-11) beat the Bellevue 12-2 in five innings on Sunday at Skagit Valley after a nine-run explosion in the third inning.

Janie Carr racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Chemeketa. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Lauren Burchak racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bellevue (14-10). He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Emilie Leach got the win, running his season record to 7-4. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered four hits.

Brielle Bray (7-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 10 runs in two innings, walked one and struck out two.
