The SW Oregon second-inning burst enough to top the Bellevue, 11-0

The SW Oregon (18-8) beat the Bellevue (13-9) 11-0 in five innings on Friday at Delta Park after a seven-run explosion in the second inning.

Lona Dengler put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the SW Oregon. He singled in the second inning, homered in the fourth inning, and doubled in the fifth inning.

Samantha Burks improved to 6-4 on the year by picking up the win for the SW Oregon. Burks struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Hannah Sauget couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Bellevue, taking a loss. He allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked four and struck out four.

The SW Oregon were sparked by Hannah Leming and Ashley Henderson, who teamed up for seven hits and four RBIs.
