Erica Chandler had three extra base hits as the Big Bend (3-10) took home an 8-6 victory over the Blue Mountain (2-10) in seven innings at BBCC Softball Field on Monday.

The Blue Mountain had no answer for Alexis Spence, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Blue Mountain managed just two hits off of the the Big Bend's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Savanna Zarate racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Blue Mountain. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Nicole Brown couldn't get it done on the bump for the Blue Mountain, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked two and struck out six.

The Big Bend were sparked by Chandler and Brinley Miller, who teamed up for four hits and eight RBIs.
