An ace performance by Darrien Moran spurred the Pierce (11-9) to an 8-1 win over the Centralia (8-14) on Saturday at Inter-Region at Centralia.
Moran got the win for the Pierce thanks to eight strikeouts. Moran allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over nine innings.
The Pierce stamped out any hope for the Centralia with four runs in the seventh.
Dalton Elmer racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Pierce. He singled in the fourth and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
Garrison Becker (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
