The Grays Harbor (7-19) beat the Pierce (19-16) 11-6 in seven innings on Friday at Bishop Athletic Complex behind Crystal Knight, who had two extra base hits.

Maddy Smith got a hit in each of his four at bats. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Jenny Benn got his seventh win for the Grays Harbor despite allowing six runs over seven innings. Benn struck out none, walked one and gave up 12 hits.

Karlee Rose Perry was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked one and struck out three.

The Grays Harbor easily handled the Pierce pitching as six hitters combined for 14 hits, nine RBIs and eight runs scored.
