The Sonoma County Chili Gods and the Nevada Big Horns (8-37) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Sonoma County Chili Gods that eventually took advantage of them in an 8-5 win at McQueen HS.

Zeke Colby reached base three times in the game for the Sonoma County Chili Gods. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the sixth inning.

Zachary Muenster racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Nevada Big Horns. He homered in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Even though Holden King allowed five runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out 11, walked one and surrendered 13 hits.

Colin Spencer couldn't get it done on the mound for the Nevada Big Horns, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
