The Anchorage Glacier Pilots (12-7) and the Matsu Miners (13-6) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Anchorage Glacier Pilots that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Mulcahy Field.

Chester Pak paced the Anchorage Glacier Pilots at the plate. Pak went 2-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Henri Faucheux picked up the win for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. Faucheux allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out four over eight innings of work.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots' lineup had no answer for Matthew Decker. The Anchorage Glacier Pilots managed just one hit off of Decker, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Seve Romo couldn't get it done on the hill for the Matsu Miners, taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
