Kevin Viers went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (10-6) to a 4-1 victory over the Peninsula Oilers (11-5) on Friday at Mulcahy Field.

Johnny York pitched lights out for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. The Peninsula Oilers managed just two hits off of York, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out six during his five innings of work.

Nick Rogowski was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the Anchorage Glacier Pilots batters and allowing two runs.

Rogowski (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
