Donnie Bradley went 2-4, sparking the Atwater Aviators (2-5) to a 7-6 victory over the Neptune Beach Pearl on Thursday at Laney College.

Brent Backlund brought the heat against the Neptune Beach Pearl during his outing. Backlund held the Neptune Beach Pearl hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Marcus Vidales got on base three times in the game for the Neptune Beach Pearl.

The Atwater Aviators had no answer for Zach Fox, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Fox gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Zack McCoy (0-1) took the loss for the Neptune Beach Pearl. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out two.
