Brendan Hendriks knocked in three runs, sparking the Cotuit Kettleers (12-14) to a 5-2 victory over the Wareham Gatemen (9-18) on Saturday at Lowell Park.

Trey Wingenter baffled the Wareham Gatemen, striking out six batters. Wingenter allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over six innings.

Corey Ray had two extra-base hits for the Wareham Gatemen. He doubled in the second and fifth innings.

Kyle Cody kept the Cotuit Kettleers off the board during his six innings of work. Cody struck out three and allowed no walks and four hits.

Jeff Kinley improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cotuit Kettleers. Kinley struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Anthony Kay (1-2) took the loss for the Wareham Gatemen. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
