Bobby Dalbec went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Orleans Firebirds (9-8) to a 6-3 victory over the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (6-11) on Saturday at Eldredge Park.

Kolton Mahoney's 11 strikeouts were enough to push the Orleans Firebirds past the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. Mahoney allowed three earned runs on four hits and no walks over six innings.

A bright spot for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox in the defeat was Justin Jacome, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.

Jordan Tarsovich racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Josh Pierce (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
