The Harwich Mariners (7-3) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-2 to the Bourne Braves (7-3) on Saturday.

The Bourne Braves took the lead in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Richard Martin Jr.

It was a good day at the plate for the Bourne Braves' Martin Jr. Martin Jr went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Samuel Kmiec's six strikeouts helped the Bourne Braves to the victory. Kmiec allowed two earned runs on four hits and one walk over six innings.

Ray Castillo (0-1) took the loss for the Harwich Mariners. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
