Danny Zardon went 1-2, sparking the Harwich Mariners (5-1) to a 2-1 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (3-3) on Tuesday at Whitehouse Field.

The Falmouth Commodores couldn't get anything going so long as Johnathan Frebis was on the hill. The Falmouth Commodores managed just one hit off of the the Harwich Mariners' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Falmouth Commodores' Matt Hall dominated the Harwich Mariners' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out six.

Donny Murray was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
