A walk-off single from Brendan OReilly brought home the winning run for the Worcester Bravehearts (26-18) in a 4-3 victory over the Brockton Rox (25-19) in 17 innings at Fitton Field on Saturday.
Kyle Slinger baffled the Brockton Rox, striking out six batters. Slinger allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over six innings.
Jack Riley improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Worcester Bravehearts. Riley struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.
Zach Perry ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
