Luke Bonfield hit three home runs to carry the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (21-19) to a 9-4 win over the Seacoast Mavericks (20-21) at Leary Field in six innings.

Bonfield racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Patrick Nicholson improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Nicholson struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Taso Stathopoulos was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
