The Nashua Silver Knights (21-18) beat the Seacoast Mavericks (19-20) 9-4 on Saturday at Leary Field behind Matt Sanchez, who collected three hits.
He singled in the first, second, and seventh innings.Sam Nepiarsky struck out five hitters en route to the the Nashua Silver Knights win. Nepiarsky allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings.
Martin Tavares racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks. He doubled in the fifth and seventh innings.
Michael Driscoll couldn't get it done on the bump for the Seacoast Mavericks, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
