Zack Short went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Brockton Rox (23-14) to a 6-4 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts (20-15) on Thursday at Campanelli Stadium.

The Worcester Bravehearts couldn't get anything going so long as Trent Berg was on the hill. The Worcester Bravehearts managed just one hit off of Berg, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his four innings of work.

Mark DeYoung racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Worcester Bravehearts. He homered in the first inning.

The Brockton Rox's lineup had no answer for Sean Gustin. Gustin held the Brockton Rox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Chris Dious couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Worcester Bravehearts, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
