The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (13-22) took home a 13-6 victory over the Torrington Titans (18-16) on Wednesday at Doyle Field, fueled by five runs in the eighth inning.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs scored in the eighth on , a two-run single by Joe Breen, an RBI single by Michael Rizzitello, an RBI single by Evan Brown, and a fielder's choice.

Brown racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs.

Mike Odenwaelder did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Torrington Titans, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Evan Mackintosh improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked four and surrendered four hits.

Brett Susi was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
