A two-run home run by Dan Palazzo delivered the runs in the eighth. The Pittsfield Suns had one hit in the inning.
Paul Cotler had two extra-base hits for the Pittsfield Suns. He singled in the second inning, homered in the sixth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.
The Pittsfield Suns relied on Justin Finan to eat up innings en route to the win. Finan allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks while striking out two over nine innings of work.
Zach Kirby (0-2) took the loss for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
