Jamin McCann held the Brockton Rox (22-11) scoreless for eight innings to boost the Pittsfield Suns (17-14) to a 2-0 victory.

McCann allowed six hits, three walks and struck out three.

Jon Pusateri was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out 10, and allowed two runs.
