A walk-off single from Omar Cuevas brought home the winning run for the North Shore Navigators (11-18) in an 8-7 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs at Fraser Field on Wednesday.

Joe Coyne got on base four times in the game for the North Shore Navigators. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Mike Corin racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (10-20). He homered in the first inning.

Steve Xirinachs improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the North Shore Navigators. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Matt Russell (0-2) took the loss for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
