Devlin Granberg went 1-3 as the Brockton Rox (20-8) took home a 5-1 victory over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (15-14) at Vineyard Baseball Park on Wednesday.

Bill Maier had an impressive outing against the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' lineup. The Marthas Vineyard Sharks managed just one hit off of Maier, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Max Slade brought the heat against the Brockton Rox during his outing. Slade held the Brockton Rox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Jake Fishman improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Brockton Rox. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Kyle Brenner couldn't get it done on the bump for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
