Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Brockton Rox (16-8) and the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (9-14), as the two teams put up 26 runs combined in a 15-11 the Brockton Rox win.

The teams totaled 29 hits in the game.

The Brockton Rox scored five runs in the first inning to build an early lead. The Brockton Rox scored in the first on an RBI single by Jonathan Salcedo, a sacrifice fly by Max Ponzurick, and a three-run double by Jacob Marotta.

Tom Stoffel racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Brockton Rox. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Even though Zach Perry allowed seven runs over two innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered six hits.

Kevin OConnor (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 11 runs in three innings, walked four and struck out three.

The Brockton Rox easily handled the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs pitching as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 14 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
