Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The Worcester Bravehearts make the most of 8 hits in 2-1 victory over the North Shore Navigators

Story by Narrative Science.

The Worcester Bravehearts (14-4) and the North Shore Navigators (6-13) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Worcester Bravehearts that eventually took advantage of them in a 2-1 win at Fraser Field.

Mark DeYoung did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Worcester Bravehearts, reaching base three times. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

The North Shore Navigators' lineup had no answer for Miles Sheehan. Sheehan held the North Shore Navigators hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Despite the loss, the North Shore Navigators' Matt Rodriguez dominated the Worcester Bravehearts' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out nine.

Brady Wright was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
