Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (6-10) outscored the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (6-11) 16-9.

The teams totaled 34 hits in the game.

Eleven runs in the opening three innings allowed the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide to easily put away the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. An RBI single by Paul McDonough in the first inning and a solo home run by Mekae Hyde, a fielder's choice, and a two-run single by McDonough during the second inning fueled the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide's offense early.

Hyde had three extra-base hits for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide.

Dylan Morrow brought the heat against the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs during his outing. Morrow held the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Raz Bracha recorded his first win of the year for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Dan Ditusa ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide easily handled the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs pitching as seven hitters combined for 18 hits, 16 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
