Offenses dominate as the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide outscore the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs 16-9

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (6-10) outscored the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (6-11) 16-9.

The teams totaled 34 hits in the game.

Eleven runs in the opening three innings allowed the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide to easily put away the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. An RBI single by Paul McDonough in the first inning and a solo home run by Mekae Hyde, a fielder's choice, and a two-run single by McDonough during the second inning fueled the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide's offense early.
