Tom Stoffel collected three hits, sparking the Brockton Rox (11-3) to a 5-0 victory over the North Shore Navigators (5-10) on Friday at Campanelli Stadium.
He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.The North Shore Navigators couldn't get anything going so long as Jake Fishman was on the hill. Fishman held the North Shore Navigators hitless over 3 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three.
Walker OConnor ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
