The Torrington Titans drub the North Shore Navigators, 12-2

The North Shore Navigators (4-9) didn't stand a chance on Wednesday, as the Torrington Titans (6-7) captured a blowout 12-2 win at Fraser Field.

An RBI double by Mike Odenwaelder and a three-run home run by Langston Coolhan helped the Torrington Titans score four runs in the first. The Torrington Titans had three hits in the inning.

Taylor Olmstead had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth innings and tripled in the ninth inning.

Alex Fishberg put together a nice outing. Fishberg held the North Shore Navigators hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Mike Bonaiuto improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Alex Valenti was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The Torrington Titans pounded the North Shore Navigators pitching, as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
