A walk-off single from Bryce Myers brought home the winning run for the Brockton Rox (9-0) in a 3-2 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs at Campanelli Stadium on Sunday.

Myers had a hot bat for the Brockton Rox. Myers went 0-0 and scored one run. He singled in the ninth inning.

The Brockton Rox were led by Tom Stoffel's hitting. Stoffel went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fifth innings and singled in the sixth inning.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (3-6)'s lineup had no answer for Jon Pusateri. The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs managed just one hit off of the the Brockton Rox's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Sam McKay improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Brockton Rox. He allowed two runs over four innings. McKay struck out four, walked none and gave up two hits.

Matthew Ferraiolo (0-1) took the loss for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
