Tom Marcinczyk went 1-4 and hit a home run as the Brockton Rox (8-0) took home a 5-4 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts (7-3) at Campanelli Stadium on Saturday.

The Brockton Rox relied on Simon Mathews to eat up innings en route to the win. Mathews allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out three over six innings of work.

Evan Devico ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
