The Brockton Rox (7-0) beat the Worcester Bravehearts (6-2) 6-3 on Thursday at Fitton Field behind Joe Freiday, who went 2-3 and hit a home run.
He singled in the second inning and homered in the eighth inning.The Worcester Bravehearts had no answer for Andrew David, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Worcester Bravehearts managed just three hits off of David, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out five during his six innings of work.
